Run Android OS on HTC HD2

HTC HD2 smartphoneGuess what? Now you can run Android on your HTC HD2 phone! HTC HD2 is a Windows Mobile OS powered phone, now hacked by XDA member DarkStone1337.

The hacker has managed to mount and load the entire OS into the device’s RAM, making it run much faster than if it was installed on either the internal storage or a SD card. Even better, the actual data file does not reside in RAM, it’s saved to the phone’s internal storage so if the battery dies, your data doesn’t disappear with it. This is pretty, isn’t it?

Since there so many non-Android devices have been hacked to run Android OS, a serious has come up: what hasn’t been hacked to run Android OS yet?
