T-Mobile G1 Phone

Needless to say T-Mobile G1 Phone has become a bestselling cell phone on Amazon, so it is not strange to see that more and more people are crazy about it, including me. The first reason I love it is its good looking, the second is its cheap price, the third is its cool features. So let’s discuss it here.

G1 delivers an extraordinary browsing experience. The G1’s browser comes with a clever multi-page window pane; it lets you surf multiple websites at the same time. Drag the page around with your finger to pan, or move from one link or textbox to another with the handy trackball positioned perfectly for your thumb. And don’t worry about waiting for pages to load. The G1 is equipped with 3.5G and Wi-Fi technology… seamlessly switching to always offer you the best connection.

The long-awaited T-Mobile G1 smartphone combines full touchscreen functionality and a QWERTY keyboard with a mobile Web experience that includes many Google tools you’ve come to rely on with your PC, including Google Maps Street View Gmail, and one-touch Google search. It’s also the first phone to be powered by Google’s new open-source Android operating system, which offers an intuitive interface easily customizable home screen. You can also purchase optional software via the Android Market to personalize your G1 with a variety of software applications like games, social networking, and on-the-go shopping.

CNET comment T-Mobile G1 like this:

The good: The T-Mobile G1 features a full QWERTY keyboard, 3G support, Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth. The Google Android operating system offers good integration with Google applications as well as access to the Amazon MP3 Store and YouTube. As more applications become available, the G1 will also become a more powerful smartphone for all types of users.

The bad: The G1 doesn’t include a standard headphone jack and lacks stereo Bluetooth and Microsoft Exchange support. There are some annoying design quirks that make the smartphone uncomfortable to hold and difficult to use. The GPS tracking was disappointing, and speakerphone quality wasn’t the greatest.

The bottom line: While we’re not in love with the design and would have liked some additional features, the real beauty of the T-Mobile G1 is the Google Android platform, as it has the potential to make smartphones more personal and powerful. That said, it’s not quite there yet, so for now, the G1 is best suited for early adopters and gadget hounds, rather than consumers and business users.

T-Mobile G1 comes with loads of wonderful features as you expected, let’s take a look.

Let’s take a look at what others said about T-Mobile G1:

The google phone has everything from youtube to a barcode scanner. The thing I love most about the G1 is that its an android.

Excellent browsing, good battery life, and I absolutely adore the slide-out keyboard.
Waiting for the next update to improve the slow camera speed and inability to save…

I started out with a T-Mobile Wing and when I received an email from T-Mobile asking to preview their G1, I jumped at the opportunity and got the black version.

The bad, is really bad for me. I’ve got the JayBird Bluetooth wireless headphones. I love them but can’t buy this phone until they upgrade the stereo bluetooth . Bummer, I had my eye on this for a long time now.
